Tech Lead Role The tech lead role is very important to the department/collaborative team. The purpose of determining a tech lead is to help develop tech embedded lessons and to train and support other teachers in the department or collaborative team.
Tech Leads will model tech embedded lessons with their collaborative team members.
Tech Leads will be provided training and will share their knowledge with department/collaborative team members.
Tech Leads will discuss and model technology. Leads do not have to be the most technologically savvy, but must be willing to initiate conversations and encourage that departments/collaborative teams are integrating technology into their lessons.
Tech Leads will share and discuss technology use with facilitators and curriculum leaders and keep them informed.
The Tech Lead is responsible for management and scheduling the shared equipment for their department/collaborative team.
Tech Leads should celebrate the technology integration in their department.
Tech Leads are NOT alone. This is a collaborative role. This is a growing project and team.
